Who is the training for?
For URC local church treasurers, Green Apostles and others interested in exploring the actions that churches can take with their finances to care for creation. This training is particularly relevant for churches working towards an Eco Church award.
What will the training cover?
This training will help you identify practical steps that your church can take. Topics will include:
- comparing greener banking options
- developing a sustainable purchasing policy
- investing for positive environmental impact
The training will be delivered via a 90-minute online Zoom meeting, with opportunity to interact and ask questions. After attending the session, you will receive a copy of the slides, plus a list of relevant links and resources. We will also invite you to complete a short feedback survey.
