Last week Derek and Tom joined Elders from Hinckley URC and Groby URC for the first session of Leading your Church into Growth Local. Both churches had two people come to the Leading your Church into Growth Conference in November and are now meeting with other Elders from their churches monthly to start considering how they can put what they have learnt into practice locally.
The first session concentrates on prayer and culture and emphasises the importance of underpinning our mission and ministry in prayer and creating a prayerful culture of growth.
