Ruth Filsak, from Marlpool URC, shares news of their half-term holiday club:
'What a great day we had, with super children and great volunteers!
The activities were based on Light as the club was the day after Halloween. We shared the message that Jesus said he was the Light of the world, showing us the best ways to be 'lights' to others by sharing joy, love and care.
Making biscuits that let light through, crafting little houses with tea-lights in, Glow in the Dark dodgeball and our very own magician/entertainer finding shiny eggs behind ears and in hair gave everyone a good time. Not to mention the lovely lunch of course!'
